The Brief Case

Another worthless day in this crappy world, doing the same old dead end job. Life continues to have no purpose. Life can be so much more, and have so much more meaning. Richard has worked at the Whatcha Want for 22 years after he dropped out of high school at 16. Richard decided to go to work on time today and actually do his job to the best of his ability. He suddenly realized that he had almost no experience in his job, and hes been working for almost his whole life. he made it the whole day without going to Queens Palace for the first time in ever working at Whatcha Want. Richards boss let Richard get off of work early to be able to take his family to the carnival. Richard got 20 free ride tickets for spending 50 bucks at queens. Getting those tickets to the carnival have been the only beneficial thing coming from that disgusting filthy strip club. Richard rushed straight home and gave his son a big hug and kissed his his wife on the forehead. His wife Jane asked Richard "whats new with you?"Richard replied with " i don't know, i just woke up today ready for change." Suddenly out of no where Richard wanted to do well and take pride in his life. Richard and his family went to the carnival. Jane and their son Bruce went on the tilta world in the back of the carnival, while he stayed in the front with his uniform and brief case next to the snow cone machine. Richard left his brief case which had his carnival ride tickets, his sweaty uniform and some subway tokens to go get some cotton candy. He came back and his brief case was gone. He looked around for it and saw 3 brief cases that looked just like his. He didnt think much of it and quickly grabbed the one closest to him. It was getting rather late and Bruce fell asleep on Richard's shoulder. They walked a couple of blocks home and went straight to bed.

  1. "..."hey! whats up
Sam!" Richard greets me as usual and I grab my regular Cheetos and Dr. Pepper. "You will never belive what just happened..." I start telling him..."
